The 'Backyard Renegade'

A book, this book, given to me by a friend was my first introduction to plywood boats. The first time I called Dynamite he was in the shop and had to turn off his saw to answer my question. I have spoken with Dynamite and his good wife Amy numerous times, they are wonderful cheerful folks.

It was a little over three years ago that I decided to build a boat so I went up on the internet and went to the big boating sites. They would not tell me Jack! One even wanted me to spend $300 dollars to join a boating and yacht club that will remain un-named before they would give me any information about building smallboats in my backyard.... Information I later found FREE from the Coast Guard. Then I hit the floor when I saw all of the redrawn Bolger/Payson stuff folks were selling as their own and I immediately started bugging Payson to get on the net! He was a little reluctant at first and he still does not go much for e-mail but a local fellow has donated some time and put together a nice
Website for Dynamite Payson!
